Arrivals and departures after 17.00

AFTER HOURS INFORMATION PACK

VISITING AIRCRAFT ARRIVING BETWEEN 17:00 - 19:00

From September 26th there will no longer be operations staff on duty after 1700. Visiting aircraft may still arrive and depart between 17:00- 19:00 by following these procedures:


ARRIVAL AFTER 1700

1. Contact the operations team prior to your arrival to advise us of your arrival time, 01534 743990. E mail or fax your General Declaration to info@jerseyareoclub.com or fax 01534 741290 at least 3 hours prior to your arrival.

2. If you are staying overnight and require assistance with accommodation please see the accommodation list below for some suggestions, or call Jersey Tourism on 01534 448888.

3. If you are only staying to pick up fuel, you will be asked to pre-order and pre pay, we will send the receipt to you the following day.

4. On arrival you will enter the flying club on the ground floor, operations is located on the first floor. The access door from ground to first floor is on a security lock and will be released once you have pressed the buzzer, please allow a few moments for the staff to do this. There is a lift as well as stairs to the first floor. Then inform the staff at the bar of your aircraft registration, you will be asked to sign your general declaration.

5. If you have booked a hire car the collection point is the airport arrivals terminal approximately a ten minute walk from the Jersey Aero Club. Taxis can be pre ordered.

DEPARTING AFTER 1700

If you wish to depart after 17:00, you will be asked to complete all your departure formalities prior to 17:00. When ready to depart please notify the bar staff who will then open the security doors for you.

NON EU PASSPORT HOLDERS

Pilots of aircraft arriving from Europe please take note of the following.

1. Pilots and passengers must have a valid passport or ID card.

2. Pilots and passengers with passports from countries not in the EU have to be seen by immigration officers with their passport in order to obtain entry permission.

3. If you are intending to arrive after 1700 local time and you have non EU passport holders on board you must inform the Jersey Aero Club before your arrival. You will then be informed of the arrival arrangements.
