Mike Higgins and his team brought us yet another fantastic Air Display this year – helped by several JAC members, three actually flying on the day.

ImageVice-chairman Mike Collett flew his beautiful Rapide (above), stirring many a memory among the more elderly onlookers by landing on the beach at West Park.  Mike also supplied a Douglas DC-6 for the display, one of the many aircraft in his Air Atlantique Classic Flight Collection.

Martin Willing flew his T-28 Fennec (below), which has the distinction of having served in the American, French and Italian air forces, and Sten Adler flew as copilot in the A-26 Invader owned by the Scandinavian Historic Flight

Chief flying instructor James Evans and his team were also involved, as they are every year, looking after the display planes parked beside the Aero Club.
