“Rally 2008”

We have an apology for Rally 4 in the distance trophy award.

Rally 4 flew from LFBU to EGJJ via LFCM & LFRD, a distance of over 700NM.

Unfortunately, due to an administration error upon their arrival, the competition judges did not receive the journey’s information to mark their entry.

After reviewing Rally 4‘s case, it became obvious that they were the team which travelled the furthest to attend the 2008 Jersey International Air Rally and therefore are the winners of the Tom Clark Trophy for Range and Endurance.

The Rally Team and the Jersey Aero Club apologise for this error and hope all who attended the Rally will join us in applauding the effort made by Rally 4 to get to Jersey despite the poor weather experienced at the weekend.

We look forward to seeing Rally 4 in the 2009 Rally.
