For student pilots the Jersey Aero Club offers Trial Lessons, training by the hour or fully inclusive Flight Training Courses and special deals which includes tuition, plane hire, landing fees, equipment and examination fees. For overseas student pilots we are happy to assist with booking accommodation.

Whilst we are proud of our competitive Flying Rates (there is no V.A.T. in Jersey) we are even more proud of our students' successes we help to achieve. Our Fleet of well maintained training Piper PA28 aircraft and professional team of smart, friendly instructors and locally based examiners with many years flying training experience, focus on tailoring tuition to match your needs and pace. Safety is paramount at all times.

Learning to fly gives the student pilot the advantage of operating from a busy commercial airport, with a supportive air traffic control service in Class D airspace and Class A airways to master. Our student pilots are competent at radio work and have the advantage of learning to fly in both British and French Airspace making flights outside the U.K. a less daunting proposition once qualified.

We offer Flight Training Courses for JAR Private Pilot Licence (PPL), Night Rating and Instrument Meteorological Conditions (IMC).  We also provide a Post PPL Development programme, created in 2008 specifically designed to build on the existing skills of PPL holders.
